STOP THE HATE
USE YOUR VOICE. REPORT HATE.
All victims and witnesses of hate incidents and hate crimes can report and are eligible for free hotline support services. California vs Hate is not affiliated with law enforcement, and you can report anonymously.
WHAT'S STOP THE HATE?
The “Stop The Hate” program is an initiative dedicated to fostering an environment of understanding and respect in the Central Valley. The Education and Leadership Foundation is currently a recipient of the Stop The Hate (STH) grant thanks to our Funders: the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) and The Center at Sierra Health Foundation.
We educate communities about the harmful impacts of bigotry and discrimination, while empowering individuals to stand up against hate through active engagement and advocacy.
This project serves as a beacon for inclusivity, as we encourage all individuals regardless of their immigration status to reach out and report hate crimes/incidents.
WHAT IS A HATE CRIME?
A hate incident can include discrimination, derogatory name calling, bullying, hate mail, and even violence- INCLUDING biases based on a race, color, disability, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

A hate crime is committed against a person or property that is motivated by the offender's bias against the race, religion, sexual orientation or ethnicity of the victim.
